Most colleges have become test-optional and plan to continue to be so. However, we still recommend taking both the SAT and ACT. Many scholarships still have test score requirements and if you test well, it can still help your chances of being admitted to college or other post-secondary programs. If you do not test well and are applying to a school that is test-optional, you do not need to provide your test scores. It cannot hurt to take these tests! Some students do better on the SAT and some do better on the ACT, so taking both can help you showcase your strengths even better.
If you need support registering for a test or finding appropriate preparation materials, please see Ms. Boivin for additional information.
Please Note: ACT and SAT test vouchers are available for students who qualify. Please contact Ms. Boivin to see if your student qualifies to take these exams for free.
