Kim Moey - Space To Look After My Health
My business began in early 2025, following redundancy after the company I’d worked with for more than 11 years went into insolvency. I used that moment to evaluate my future and used this turning point as a chance to build something of my own, offering founders and CEOs high‑level virtual PA, HR, Recruitment and Operational support.
Just a month later, I was finally diagnosed with an auto‑immune disease. After feeling unwell for more than a year. Finally understanding what was happening with my body, and starting treatment brought huge relief. It was a challenging period, but one I met with resilience. Having been diagnosed as dyslexic at university. I’d already learned how to adapt, be resourceful and keep moving forward and determined in the face of challenges.
Running my own business now gives me the freedom to work in a way that supports my clients while also giving me the space to look after my health. That flexibility has been invaluable.
