During class, activities, assignments and directions will posted on Google Classroom.
Most assignments will be submitted through Google Classroom. This may include: responding to questions, completing and turning in provided assignments, or uploading a picture of your completed work.
Due dates will be posted on both Google Classroom and Skyward. In order to be successful, it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that all of the assignments are complete, on time, and show your best effort. Work turned in late or incomplete will have points taken off. If there is an extenuating circumstance, please communicate with me.
Grades will be posted on Skyward.
Skyward will list assignment catergories and weights.
Spanish grades will focus on four main categories: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Grades will also focus on culture.
Letter grades will be calculated using the Abington School District scale: 90-100% A, 80-89% B, 70-79% C, 60-69% D, 40-59% E.
For secondary students, the year is divided into four marking periods: September 7, 2022 - November 11, 2022 (marking period 1). November 12, 2022 - January 27, 2023 (marking period 2). January 28, 2023 - April 5, 2023 (marking period 3) and April 6, 2023- June 15, 2023 (marking period 4).
