Lab report writing is an essential part of the scientific process. Writing lab reports will help you develop skills associated with scientific inquiry, the scientific method, scientific thinking, and scientific communication, which are at the heart of the scientific process.
As the year progresses, you will learn how to write each section and analyze your data in a concise, clear manner. The first lab we will do will require just the results section, the second lab will require Results and Materials & Methods, and so on until you are able to write a full lab report by the end of the year. A template (like the one shown below) will be assigned in Google Classroom with instructions when a lab report is assigned. You will have one week to complete each lab report.
