During Class:
While we are virtual, please feel free to ask questions during class by raising your hand as it is more efficient if we all are muted until ready to speak.
During School Hours when we are not in class together:
Send me an email or a private message via google classroom. If you send an email, make sure you include your FULL name & class period as well as details about your concern/question. You may also request a time to video conference via google meet; include your request in your email and we can set up a time to video conference.
After School Hours
Send me an email. Make sure you include your name & class period, details about your concern/question. I will do my best to answer it by the end of the day but realize that emails sent later in the day may not be answered until the next day. I am typically available in "real time" until 4pm although that may change.
I graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Secondary Education concentrating in English.

This quote by Frederick Douglass is posted on the wall in my room and it's one that really resonates with me as a teacher. Reading IS freedom!
Each month I will suggest a FUN book. These books are NOT mandatory, but they are ones that I thought were interesting, so I hope you will as well. Since we are beginning the year virtually, I will suggest an audio book. Audible currently has a program which will allow students to listen to books for FREE! Why not take some time to yourself and listen to a fun and interesting story? To listen, click on the image for the link. Click the link here to see how to access this book via the Abington library website. ENJOY!!
