Greetings! My name is Tim Myers and I have been teaching in Abington for 16 years. During that time I have taught High School Choral, Piano, Music Theory, Life Skills Music, and Voice Class. I have also directed the High School's Fall Play and Musical. For the past five years I have had the pleasure of teaching General Music at the Elementary level. In addition to my teaching in the Abington School District I have also taught at Widener University.

In my teaching, music is an integral part of our connection to each other, and opens us to experience emotions and feelings. My philosophy revolves around the premise that everyone should be able to participate in music, whether they are playing Mozart by age 3, or can barely sing a tune. Music is a language that can be learned by any and everyone.
