About mR. Garry
About mR. Garry
This is my 22nd year teaching at Abington and I'm a proud 1995 graduate of Abington as well. I live in the township and my three children are students in the distict (Mckinley, Junior High and Senior High). I'm a Ghost to my core! I've coached a bunch over the years (softball, baseball, golf) and currently serve as the Co-Directior of Student Activites & Student Council. I received my undergraduate degree from LaSalle University and my Master's Degree from Arcadia.
I've taught a buch of different subjects since my first year in 1999. In the past I've taught World Civilizations, American history and AP US History. I currently teach AP US Government & Politics, Civics & Government, and Social Studies Gifted Seminar.
When not in school I enjoy hiking, playing golf and watching my kids play sports. I'll read anything about politics or history. I am an enormous sports fan. I support all of my Philadelphia teams love watching Premier League soccer
