Practice your typing on TypeTastic, or any other online typing program. You can also practice typing by writing a story or letter on the computer.
Practice spelling words in different fonts and fun ways. You can also practice by writing pen pal letters (click on the blue button to get pen pal writing templates) to friends or family. You can practice your cursive in your handwriting book too.
You can type or handwrite summer stories with the following prompts.
If playing on Blooket, have your child log in with their Google Account, and then click "solo." You can also click on the underlined captions below each image to go straight to the website.
To play on Quizizz, click on the images labeled "Math," or the captions below them. Then click start a quiz and classic mode to get a join code. You can play as a family on different devices, or your child can open a second tab or use another device to play.
To play on Kahoot, click "continue as guest" and "classic" on the image below. You will then get a join code that you can enter on another tab or device. You can also click on the caption to open the game in a larger window.
Click on any of the following Google Forms, click "Make a Copy" and then as you answer questions correctly you will color a picture.
The following activities are printable. Your child has pages from the first three documents in their summer packets, but there are some extra pages or second sets of practice pages with different numbers. You'll find an answer key at the end of the second summer practice packet below if you want to check their work. The kite document also invites them to design their own fraction kite; some students made one at school already, but there are a lot of other designs to choose from. The fourth document offers a variety of games to print and play with your child to practice math concepts. The last page is a way to keep track of First in Math participation.
