Welcome freshmen! I am excited to be part of your educational path as you begin the next part of your journey at Abington Senior High School; we have many things to look forward to this year. This will be my 24th year teaching in Abington, and what makes my job amazing is you. Therefore, please do not hesitate to reach out with questions, comments, or concerns as we venture down this path together. The easiest way to reach me this year when we are not in school together will be via email or through comment features on assignments you will be working on in Google Docs, Slides, etc.

During Class:
Raise your hand during class to ask questions that need to be answered immediately or may benefit multiple students.
Come to class a minute early or stay a minute late to ask a question privately if you would prefer.
When we are not in class together:
Send me an email. Please follow the basics for professional writing in an email that we will cover at the beginning of the school year. Include your name and class period, details about your concern/question, and how soon you need a reply.
You may also add comments directly on Google Docs, Slides, etc. that you are working on for class, and I will be able to reply in the same place. This will be most helpful when asking questions related to a specific assignment.
**I will do my best to answer emails and comments by the end of the school day, but emails sent after 3:15 PM may not be answered until the next day.
Parents
First, please encourage your child to speak with me or reach out to me. If you do not believe the issue has been resolved or have further questions, please email me. Include your child's name, class period, and details about your concern/question. I will do my best to respond by the end of the day, but emails sent after 3:15 PM may not be answered until the next day. Please allow 48 hours for a response before sending a follow-up.
