First, let me say “Welcome Back!” and share a bit about myself. I have now been teaching in Abington for 23 years (24 if you count student teaching) and 25 years overall. While I didn't grow up in Abington, I have spent my entire life living in Pennsylvania. I moved to the Philadelphia region for college where I attended LaSalle University and then Temple University for graduate school. Some of my hobbies include traveling (an obvious hobby for a social studies teacher I know), playing and watching sports, especially baseball and football (I'm a huge Phillies and Eagles fan), swimming, going to the shore and riding roller coasters (I lost count, but I've easily ridden over 200 different roller coasters on several continents). I've lived in Philadelphia for 20 years until recently moving to Ambler. I have two cats named JoJo (a big orange cat who resembles Garfield and loves to sleep) and Grayson (obviously a gray cat who loves to play outside). I also have two dogs: Daisy who loves to play fetch and ride in the car and Dory who loves to chase squirrels. I look forward to learning all about each of my students as the year progresses and needless to say I look forward to a great year together!
