The Abington Middle School Library's mission is to promote information and digital literacy to all students, staff and the community. Through collaboration, research and thinking critically, students will become proficient learners in accessing information in the 21st century. The Abington Middle School Library provides equitable access to resources, advocating an inclusive environment and celebrating diversity. The library collaborates with staff, teachers and parents to prepare students to become contributors to their communities, be good citizens, lifelong learners and develop a love for reading.
HOURS: MONDAY and FRIDAY 7:30 AM - 3:15 PM*
TUESDAY - THURSDAY 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM*
*Please note that due to occasional meetings and events the library may be closed before or after school.
The AMS library website and and all resources are located in ClassLink in the yellow library folder.
Students may visit the library on their own before school, after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, with a pass during workshop or advisory, or during class time with a teacher.
Students must present their ID badges and a pass at the circulation desk upon entering the library.
Library bathrooms are for library patrons only.
No food or drink is allowed in the Library
Circulation:
Students may:
Borrow up to 5 items at a time.
Borrow books (print and digital) for 14 days.
Renew materials as needed.
