A key component of the A.C.T.I.V.E. Academy is a volunteer work-study program in which the young adults learn employability skills while working in the community in preparation for their independence in the adult world of work. These relationships have proven to be extremely successful and our partners continue to be impacted by the meaningful work that our young adult do each day. Our goal of the work-study program is for it to benefit the business or organization, our students, and the community. Some of our current sites include:
