Goal of Digital Activity Challenges
Emphasize technology integration across all grades and content areas that support district learning goals and a growth mindset in digital innovation.
What are Digital Activity Challenges?
A 4- to 6-week opportunity for teachers to participate in one district-wide digital activity that can cover any grade level or content area that focuses on one or more of the 4C’s (communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking). Any teacher is welcome to participate, but not required. By participating in the activity, teachers can customize it to fit in with their current learning goals and comfort level with tech integration (teacher only, whole-class activity, small group, individual, extension, etc.).
How will it work?
Teachers can review the challenge guide, if needed, they may receive additional training by either the DC or campus tech liaison, then implement the activity at any time during the challenge window and share artifacts (links, videos, pictures, student samples, etc.) to a central depository. From this point, district curriculum leaders would review the submissions and decide which entry has met the challenge with the highest marks from our D.A.C. rubric.
