FIRST Robotics is for students at our school who wish to challenge themselves and expand their experience by developing a complex robot. In FRC, the robots will weigh around 100 lbs and require the use of manufacturing, electrical knowledge, and more advanced programming. The FRC program will help students better practice the skills taught in many of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes, better prepare them for the workforce, and help to further develop the community.
Once our team completes all competitions for the 2025 season, we will start promoting FRC for the upcoming school year. With many seniors on our team, it’s essential to actively seek out underclassmen who are passionate about robotics and possess the motivation to sustain this program for the 2025-2026 school year. We will pursue additional sponsorships while also renewing our current partnerships. The seniors will share their knowledge and experiences with the underclassmen, who will learn the FIRST system with enthusiasm and encouragement. Our aim is to establish a successful team within our school and community, inspiring students to explore robotics opportunities other than those they have seen before. We aspire to build a team that is accomplished, inclusive, supportive, and honorable.
