The goal of the Whitney Early College Program is to prepare students to pursue a post-secondary education at a four-year college or university. A student who completes the program will meet ABCUSD high school graduation requirements and the California General Education Transfer Curriculum  (CAL-GETC) requirements through Cerritos College. This allows students to complete lower division course requirements at the University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) thus saving time and money.

Current 8th grade students are invited to apply. If accepted, students are expected to participate in the Whitney Early College Program all four years.
