As a reminder, during the ceremony, the following items are prohibited inside the stadium:

Coolers
Confetti
Chairs
Noise Makers
Food & Beverages
Flowers
Leis
EZ-ups
Balloons
Large signs that would obstruct views (ONLY FACE SIGNS ALLOWED)
And all purses and bags are subjected to a search.
All guests and graduates will need to wear a face mask that covers both the mouth and nose before, during, and after the ceremony.

On Thursday, June 10, 2021, Gahr High School will host the graduation ceremony. A socially distanced ceremony will take place at a limited capacity. The ceremony will take place at 7 PM. All graduates will need to RSVP for the event. Students will receive an email with their marching order once all RSVPs have been collected.

Due to State regulations, all senior graduating students must RSVP to attend. If a senior does not RSVP for the event, it may be possible for the senior to not participate. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE EVENT.

Before the ceremony, an email with the marching order will be sent to the senior. Seniors will be able to discuss with their parents if they should sit on the home or visitor side of the stadium.

Please use the form to register your four guests for the ceremony. Note, at this time, the state continues to require guests to be California residents, are not making exceptions for those who have been vaccinated. We will let you know immediately if these requirements change.

Children over 2 years old will require their own ticket and seat. Any child under 2 years old must be seated on the ticket holder's lap during the event.

Seniors can pick up their cap and gown on Wednesday, June 2nd in the West Quad. Times will be provided by last name to ensure social distancing protocols are followed.

On Wednesday, June 2nd in the West Quad, seniors who have not purchased the cap and gown may purchase on-site with limited availability. Cash will be the only form of payment.

Yes, you can borrow a cap and gown. Please make sure that it is Gahr Blue and fits appropriately.

The in-person ceremony will follow the California state guidelines as well as any ABCUSD COVID-19 protocols.. Remarks will be given by the principal, ABCUSD Board members, and two graduating seniors. The Gahr HS Jazz Band will play. Graduates will have the opportunity to process across the stage, hear their name announced, receive their diploma covers, and have photos taken, while projected on the screens at the stadium.
