Students learned about primary colors, secondary colors and tertiary colors. Fibo Art staff guided students in creating a parrot painting project using tertiary colors.
Students had the opportunity to explore and develop new skills using coding to create a webpage. Code Ninja staff helped students get creative and learn something new.
Mr. Burnett (MHP) provided students with the opportunity to work on a fun team building activity. Students were placed in teams and given a handful of supplies (spaghetti, tape and string) to work together and create a spaghetti tower. Students through the process learned how to create a SMART goal.
Ms. Zaragoza and Ms. Perez (EL Counselors) presented to the students and spoke to them about transitioning to middle school from elementary and self advocacy.
Students had the opportunity to explore their creative side and collaborate with others students to create beats. A Soundtrap instructor walked students step-by-step in creating their own music. Teachers had the opportunity to listen to the beats/music students' created.
