Anxiety & Stress

When people say they are anxious and/or stressed you generally know what they mean, but we all actually define and experience anxiety and stress differently. Some people explain it as an uncomfortable emotion, some refer to physical sensations, and some focus on how it affects their thinking.

Stress is universal in that everyone has some understanding about what it means to be stressed, but stress is also individual in that how each person experiences stress is vastly different.

Check out these strategies below in coping with your own stress and anxiety.

The following resources are meant to be guides in helping you manage your anxiety and stress. If you feel that you need additional support in these areas please contact your School Social Worker/Mental Health Professional.
