The ABC shall be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as now enacted or hereafter amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The foregoing general purposes shall include, but not be limited to:

(a) To promote and foster an awareness, understanding, and appreciation of and participation in Irish tradition and culture in the community through Irish dance.

(b) To enhance and support the educational and developmental experience of and provide and furnish assistance and support to the dance students of The Academy of Irish Dance, Inc. (The Academy).

(c) To exercise any and all powers and authority now or hereafter conferred upon nonprofit corporations in the State of Ohio.

(d) To engage in any and all lawful acts or activities permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as now enacted or hereafter amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

(e) To engage in any and all lawful acts or activities that may be reasonably necessary or incidental to carry out the foregoing purposes.
