Materials Needed

• camera of any kind (digital preferred)

• construction paper

• markers

You will create your poster on one slide using Google Slides.

For this activity, you can choose a favorite book or a book you recently finished reading.

1. Use a camera to take a close-up picture of you holding up the book (so the title is readable in the photograph).

2. Cut from white construction paper a large "speech bubble" like those seen in comic books and comic strips. You can use markers to write your thoughts about the book inside the talk bubble.

*Choose one of the following to add to your speech bubble:

a. Tell us about one of the best parts of the book. (Be careful not to spoil any surprises for others who might read the book.)

b. Tell us who your favorite character in the book was. Why?

c. Complete this sentence: I would recommend this book because ......

Add the the photo to the Google slide. It must all fit on one slide.
