Please note the documents and photographs that are required to be handed in with the application form:
All students
- The original birth certificate or a legally authenticated copy.
- A passport sized colour photograph of the student (attach to the front of this form).
- ABC recommendation form.
- Agreement of acquired commitments
- The original last school report or transcript received at the previous school (not required for Pre-Kinder or Kinder entry).
- A conduct letter or a letter of recommendation from the previous school (not required for Pre-Kinder or Kinder entry).
Students coming from a Salvadorian school
- The original Ministry of Education Certificate for the previous year (for entry from 1st grade upwards).
- For entry to 11th grade: a copy of the official MINED registration list, provided by the previous school.
- Letter from the previous school stating that there are no outstanding accounts.
- Written confirmation of the MINED record closure, only if the student leaves prior to the end of the school year at the current school.
Students arriving from abroad
- For entry into 10th – 12th: grade equivalence from 9th grade onwards, issued by MINED El Salvador; for that purpose you must present to MINED the authenticated and apostilled report card by the issuing country’s authorities, and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador. This document must be then translated to Spanish.
- For students entering at a lower grade but intending to continue into 12th grade at the ABC, you must follow the authentication process described above for the original birth certificate, upon joining the ABC.
Documents to support your application should include, but are not limited to the following:
- Financial guarantee documents
- Letter of employment or contract
- Copies of parents’ and/or person or entity responsible for payments DUI/passport and NIT
- Tax documents (Declaración de Renta y de IVA)
