Telehealth

Due to everchanging needs and the increased amount of tools available, telehealth services are being provided by ATLAS to reach clients that may have previously been unable to attain services. Our telehealth services currently include parent training and behavioral consultation services.

Provision of telehealth services may be dependent upon insurance approval.

Parent Training

Parent training is required within the provision of any direct therapy treatment plan, but may also be provided to parents and/or caregivers if their child is unable to receive approval for additional therapy services. Parent training sessions will focus on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to better prepare and educate parents and/or caregivers to meet the needs of their child. Targeted areas may include but are not limited to:

  • Defining behavior

  • Antecedent and consequential interventions

  • Reinforcement

  • Functions of behavior

  • Motivating operations

  • Communication training

  • Social skills training

  • Daily living skills

  • Data collection

Consultation

Consultation services may be provided on a client specific basis for clients who may not qualify for extended services, may be reducing their amount of services being provided, or may not be able to otherwise receive behavior therapy. Consultation services are also offered for collaboration, training and support within the school environment.
