Google Guardian
Google Guardian is being rolled out in Hermitage - you should have received a consent form to confirm your email address. If you have not completed the consent form please contact: enquirieshermitageacademy@argyll-bute.gov.uk
You will need to fill out an electronic copy of the consent form and return it to the office.
This will then be connected to your child's Google Classroom. You will then receive a weekly summary of each of the classes your child is enrolled in.

Parent Login Issue Guidance
As Google Guardian is a 'Google product' when parents try to login and accept the invite to Guardian - despite the school office adding the chosen email address from the consent form. Google seems to default to a Gmail or glow address when you click 'accept' on the guardian invite. The initial invite goes to the address you requested but then defaults to Gmail for all future updates.
To get round this you need to:
open an incognito window (using the three dots at the top of the browser next to your pic or initials and select 'new incognito window')
open your invite email,
click on 'accept'
only then can you confirm your hotmail, aol, btinternet... account.
By using a Gmail account you will have the option to change the summaries to daily - any other email account will only allow you to receive weekly updates.
