Stoneywood School is a non-denominational school in the north west of Aberdeen. The current school building opened in August 2018, however there has been a school in Stoneywood for the last 150 years. The school is built across a single level with wide corridors throughout. Classrooms are spread over 3 teaching wings (Blue, Green and Orange) with classrooms furnished with state of the art technology. Each classroom has both direct access to the outdoors and a shared indoor wet area that is flooded with natural light. We also have an open plan nursery where children enjoy the benefit of free flow play both indoors and outside. School grounds consist of a tarred playground, with road markings, a 4G sports area or MUGA and at the back of the school, a natural wooded area that the children can access.

Due to the current situation across Scotland and the rising cases of Covid-19, Stoneywood School is currently closed to most pupils and learning is being delivered online. This will be updated by Scottish Government.
