Muirfield School

 Welcome to Muirfield School!

At Muirfield we aim to nurture ambition for success and strive to provide an environment where our pupils are happy, healthy, safe and encouraged to grow and learn in a holistic approach. 

Muirfield School was opened in January 1957 and has been an integrated member of the local community. We work closely with local businesses and have an active PTA committee whose aim is to bring back excitement and fun events for our pupils since covid. 

In addition to the classrooms, the facilities at Muirfield include a large assembly/dining hall, a gym and a general purpose area on the stage. There is a music room and a well-stocked and attractive library and a Support for Learning classroom, nurture room and sensory room. Outside we have a large grassy area for children to utilise and enjoy. 

The range of educational provision at Muirfield extends from Nursery to Primary 7. The Nursery caters for 40, 3-5 children 9am-3pm and a further 5 spaces for eligible 2s. 

We pride ourselves in valuing all members of our local community and welcome any pupils and their parents/guardians into our school.
