Lunch

As with all Aberdeen City schools, a cashless catering system is in operation.  Each parent will be provided with a log-in which will enable them to pre-select meal choices at home with their child.

All children are allocated a ParentPay account and once and account in activated, parents can add all children in the family to the one account.  This will provide you with the means to top up your child's lunch account.

Pupils from Nursery-Primary 5 are currently, by law, entitled to Free School Meals.  This will automatically be adjusted on your child's account, so that you are not charged for their meals.

All other pupils across stages P6-7, unless qualifying for Free School Meals, pay for their lunch.  A primary school lunch currently costs £2.35 per day.

Meal accounts are reviewed weekly and alert notifications are routinely issued to those who pay for meals and have outstanding balances on their accounts.  This ensures parents are aware of how much has been charged to their accounts and prevents large meal debts from accumulating.

Information on School Meals and to check if you qualify for Free School Meals can be found below:

Dietary requirements / Allergies

Please ensure you alert school either in the induction paperwork or by email/phone of any dietary requirements or allergies your child may have.  Only specific dietary requirements e.g. Halal or diagnosed allergies/intolerances should be communicated, this does not refer to foods your child may not like eating.

Packed Lunches

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home if they prefer. This should be in a box/container clearly marked with their name.

Please make sure all morning snacks are separated from lunch box items.

Pupils should take their lunch boxes home daily to be cleaned.
