House Captains
Forehill House Captains
At Forehill we have 4 house groups. The houses are named after the streets that are in the local area.
The yellow house is called Jesmond
The Green house is called Lee
The blue house is called Ashwood
The red house is called Woodcroft
Meet the Captains
The house captains all went through a tough process of standing for election to become the captain for their house. They each wrote a manifesto and created a presentation for the other pupils in their house to see. The whole school from P1 to P7 had an opportunity to vote for one of the candidates to be captain for their house. After this lengthy process the children who were elected were: Alex, Ethan, Eva, Rhea, Mason, Gracie, Ahmed and Maja. Well done to all who were elected and especially well done to all who took part.
What do the house captains do?
As house captains we take on lots of extra responsibilities. We encourage our house to make positive choices in school which can result in us earning house points for our house.
We support in assembly and hand out house points to children who are setting well, listening and also singing along with our assembly songs nicely.
We also get involved in key decision making in school by working with Miss Johnstone and Mrs Johnston to have our say on things that have an impact on the whole school.
