We spent a lot of time choosing the books.  We needed a good spread of titles suitable for all abilities and interests.  

Selecting picture books and graphic book titles made the project accessible to all.

The project was open to pupils in S1 and S2.  Senior pupils and staff were encouraged to participate too.

We had planned to use the picture books for a paired reading project with our feeder primaries but ran out of time.  It is something we'd like to explore in the future.
