In the National 5 English course you will improve your reading, writing, talking, and listening skills. You’ll also cover the outcomes for the National 5 Literacy unit.
You will study different texts, like novels, poems, and plays, and learn how to analyse them. You will write critical essays and a portfolio of creative or discursive writing. You will develop your talk skills through group discussion and solo talk.
It’s great for anyone planning to take Higher English or who needs strong communication skills for future study or careers.
