Music Lessons are managed centrally by Aberdeen City Council's Music Service. A team of nine Visiting Music Instructors visit each week and give lessons in woodwind, brass, strings, percussion, guitar, piano / keyboard, bagpipes / chanter and singing.
If you'd like to request lessons please click here.
Tuition in Scotland is currently free and as such there is a high demand for lessons at present. It is highly likely that your child will be placed on a waiting list until a space becomes available unless they are studying National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher Music where pupils will be given priority.
Where a pupil misses two consecutive lessons in a row without a valid reason, a warning will be sent home. Where a young person continues to miss lessons it's possible that they will lose their space.
If your child wishes to stop lessons you are advised to use the form here or contact the school, or instructor directly.
