Learning Characters

Learning Leader

Here at Braehead we use our learning leader as a visual representation for a lessons 'learning intentions'.

A learning intention is what pupils should know, understand or be able to do by the end of the lesson or series of lessons .

The focus is on what we want pupils to learn by the end of the lesson, instead of what they need to do to complete the task.

In some P1-3 classes, they may refer to this instead as the 'Learning Lion'.
