Developing the Young Workforce

WHAT IS DEVELOPING THE YOUNG WORKFORCE?

Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work. DYW is designed to improve the pathways between young people and future employment through the support of skills development across the Broad General Education, from early years through to senior phase and beyond.

Partners of DYW include Skills Development Scotland, local and school based staff, regional DYW employer groups, colleges and universities, and community learning and development (CLD).
