Some children are asking teachers for extra tasks to complete. We have added a few ideas below and will continue to add over time. If you complete any, you could ask your parents to Tweet a picture (@AiryhallSch). We will be linking these to our Skills for Learning, Life and Work which can be viewed in this document:
Airyhall Colouring Page - Artist Mrs Robertson created a picture of our school for learners to colour in.
Read a Book - you can't read too much! Choose a book from home or a free e-book!
Coding - some ideas are in the Technologies Site (link in menu).
Build a Den - Use things around the house to make a den. How will you get it to stay up?
Learning Pit - Design your own learning pit. This could be a drawing, a model or maybe even made digitally.
Typing - some ideas are in the Technologies Site (link in menu).
Learn a Language - ask your parent to set you up on Dualingo or another site to help you learn another language.
Recycling - help sort your household recycling.
Write an Email - write an email to a relative or maybe even a local care home. Ask your parent to send it.
Sumdog - play some more games on Sumdog.
Blue Planet - watch Blue Planet or another wildlife programme. Practise taking notes as you are watching or draw a picture to remind you.
Personal Project - research a topic that interests you. You could present your findings in a Google Doc or Google Slide.
Play a Board Game - play a board game with your family (only if they have time!).
Chores - help tidy your room or put away the washing.
Reseach Questions - think of things you would like to find out. Choose one to reseach.
Critter Keeper - you will need to ask your parent to log on to Facebook. Daily sessions @13.30
How Does it Work? Choose a toy or a household object (so long as it is safe to do so). Try to figure out what makes it work!
Podcast - record a podcast. You could speak about your day, what it is like to learn from home or what you have been learning about.
Music Practice - if you are learning to play an instrument, do a little more practice!

Glasgow Science Centre - you will need to ask your parent to log on to Facebook. Daily sessions @10.00
Edinburgh Zoo - Live zoo streaming is available on their website.
Learn How to Cook - Help your parents prepare a meal - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Did you follow a recipe? Or could you write a set of instructions for someone else?

Window Picture - use your imagination to create a picture for your window.
