This is a really great activity to relax with when you need to do something with your hands but don't want to think too much. The only thing you really need to be able to do is count to three. Equipment wise you will need:
Cardboard
Something round to draw around
Scissors
Wool, string or stranded cotton (enough for 7 lengths)
Never forget the power of reading something you enjoy. Favourite books that we know well can be ideal if you're feeling a bit stressed. Reading for just 6 minutes can reduce your stress levels by two thirds!
Reading fiction and real life stories are a great way to connect with others and boost our empathy for others and ourselves.
