National Progression Award (Level 5 or 6)

Course Overview

The NPA in Business and IT is designed to equip learners with knowledge of fundamental business principals, whilst also exploring aspects of Marketing and Business Operations. A second area of study will develop and enhance practical IT skills utilising a range of Microsoft Office packages. These practical IT skills will stand candidates in good stead for progression to further education or directly to employment.

This course is offered at both SCQF levels 5 and 6 allowing presentation at the level appropriate to candidate progression.

Assessment Methods

The learner will be assessed on an ongoing, unit-by-unit basis, this will take a combination approach of both written assessment and through research and presentation. There is no final exam for this course.
