S2 Physics

The S2 Physics course is divided into five units, covering a wide variety of topics which are related to pupil’s lives and the world about them. The course is designed to build upon the investigative skills and topics taught in S1 Science, whilst also helping establish the skills required for effective progression into the National 4 and 5 courses. There will be opportunities for pupils to increase confidence working in groups and independently in a practical based environment. 

The course consists of the following units:

• Density

• Heat and Temperature

• Electricity and Electronics 

• Energy

• Forces and Space
