WIC Program COVID-19 Update - WIC services will continue with a new process to enroll new families and re-certify current participants. Families with WIC benefits that have lapsed can call to be re-activated. Pregnant mothers can call to do a phone intake for support/services, including food support. As of 3/30/20 no grocery stores are reporting being out of formula, please check with the grocery store manager if shelves are empty and ask them to check their stock in back.

There was a federal moratorium on evictions that ended this past summer in July. There is now a NEW eviction moratorium through the federal CARES Act that runs through Dec 2020 specific to tenants who cannot afford rent because of income loss due to COVID-19. Part of the new process is the requirement of tenants to sign a declaration indicating they meet all the eligibility requirements to avoid eviction.
