The most time consuming thing is grading. With Google Forms, multiple choice, dropdown, and checkbox questions can be automatically scored. Short answers and paragraph questions can also be collected but need to manually graded.
If you are using the form as a quiz or using and sort of short answer, you may want to release the scores later after you have reviewed them. Once you release the scores students will be able to see only the items you select such as Missed Questions, Correct Answers, and Point Values.
To set the answer to a question after you have enabled the Quiz Feature, you have to click on the Answer Key link under each question.
Once in the Answer Key, you can set the correct answer to the problem, the number of points, and the feedback that students can see.
With your the feedback you can customize it in several ways. You can write a response that can be displayed to students or provide a link to an online article, or embed a youtube video tutorial.
