Welcome! We are your hosts, Vince & Isla. We've carefully curated this welcome book to answer any questions you may have during your stay as well as some helpful hints to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable stay. 

You'll find everything you need to know about our place and the surrounding area. From check-in/check-out time to the WiFi code. From great coffee to the best local restaurants. It's all here.

Our Philosophy

You want to have a wonderful stay and we want that for you too. This is your home for however long you are staying and we hope you'll be relaxed, comfortable and happy. We strive for 5-star service. If there is anything that is not up to your standards in terms of cleanliness, amenities, or anything else, please reach out and give us a chance to make things right. If you don’t tell us, we won’t know. We want to make your stay with us is an enjoyable one.

Here's a basic list of what you might want to bring on your vacation. You'll no doubt have your own needs, but we thought this might be helpful, knowing what we do about the amenities in this home!

• Personal toiletries. 

• Camera, memory cards, charger

• Personal electronics chargers

• Streaming Devices: Roku Stick, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, Apple Tv, anything you use at home to stream TV. All of our TV's are "Smart" streaming TVs.

• Please note we have provided dark colored towels for makeup removal. Please refrain from staining the white towels. There will be a service charge for any makeup stained towels.

Remember, the weather person is the only one who can be wrong and still keep their job. We like to say "there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing".

There's Free Street Parking where available.

When locking and unlocking the door, gently PULL the door towards you until the green checkmark on the key-pad flashes.

There is no standard "key" for the apartment - it's all managed by the unique 4 digit code entered into the keypad on the lock

To lock the door, press the "Lock" symbol at the bottom right of the keypad lock. You should hear the door lock & a green check-mark should appear..

Please do not share it with anyone.

We will provide you with an access key code the afternoon prior to arrival. This will allow you to check yourself into the property. Please ensure you have the code before you travel. If not, please contact us. There's nothing worse than arriving somewhere new (potentially at night) and not being able to get in!

There are a washer and dryer available in the unit for your use. They are located. Please use the provided compressed soap, as using anything else may clog the pipes.

The association provides about ten large bins located at the back of the complex in the alley. You are welcome to use these for trash and recycling during their stay. Please make sure to close the lids properly to keep the area clean and tidy.

The unit has a mini split with heads in the living area and each bedroom. Three separate remote operated thermostats

There is free Wi-Fi for your use.

Shiro's - Each chef at Shiros is a recognized as a sushi master in their own right with a deep understanding of “Edomae”, the sushi preparation method of original founder, Shiro Kashiba. 

Shaker + Spear - is like eating inside a Crate & Barrel catalogue, aesthetically gorgeous with a touch of boujee. The food is phenom too!

Rocco’s - Best pizza in Belltown area

Fulcrum Café - One of Seattle’s most esteemed roasters is run by fifth-generation Costa Rican coffee farmer Blas Aflaro. Fulcrum’s Belltown cafe is modern and welcoming, and delivers on the high standards set for quality coffee.

Monorail Espresso - Credited with being the nation’s first espresso cart, Monorail Espresso should be on the radar for any Seattle coffee devotee. Its original incarnation — a coffee cart (stationed by the entrance of the downtown monorail) made with parts from a Boeing surplus shuttle cart in 1980 — eventually transitioned into a walk-up window at Fifth Avenue and Pike Street. 

We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

Breakages

We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to know prior to your departure to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

Smoking Policy

This is a smoke-free home, including the outside area surrounding property. No smoking of any substance including vaping.

IMPORTANT Additional Rules 

- Please avoid stepping on the grass, as it is new and still growing.

- Absolutely no parties are allowed in this property.

- No smoking allowed inside the apartment or on the property.

- No additional guests are allowed other than what's shown on the reservation. If you wish to have visitors, please ask us for permission beforehand.

- No tampering or disabling of smoke detectors or smoking inside the home. 

- Please eat in the dining area to prevent stains and damage.

- Quiet hours are strictly observed overnight starting from 22:00 to 8:00 (10 pm - 8 am). 

Kindly remember to respect our neighbors and other guests. Your consideration is greatly appreciated!

- We keep the floors super clean and tidy, so we respectfully ask you to take your shoes off when inside. It will also help with noise! Thank you for your understanding!

- We kindly request that you avoid unplugging any items that are currently plugged in. Thank you for your cooperation!

- We kindly ask that you load the dishwasher and start it before checking out. Please note that an additional cleaning fee will apply if you do not.

- We have provided black washcloths for makeup removal. Please do not stain our white towels. - There is a fee for every damaged hand towel.

- If anything breaks, spills, or stains, let us know as soon as possible. We'll take a look and help clean up. Upon assessment, guests may be responsible for damages.

- Checkout time is strictly enforced. If you do not have written approval on the platform messaging and you do not checkout on time you will be charged $20 for every 15 minutes past the official checkout time of 10 AM.

Request no later than 48 hours from check-in time. Availability to accommodate depends on our housekeepers schedule. Again, we cannot assure an early arrival until you receive confirmation from us.

Check-out Time

Check-out time is strictly 10am on.

Late Check-out: Request no later than 24 hours from check-out time. Availability to accommodate depends on our housekeeper's schedule. We will definitely do our best to accommodate your request!

Check-out Process

Before your departure, we would appreciate if you would take care of the following:

• Leave the beds unmade. No need to strip them.

• Place used towels on the floor in the bathroom.

• Load the dishwasher and start it.

• Move all furniture and items back to original locations.

• Set thermostat to 78F.

• Check all windows to be sure that they are locked.

• If your unit had any kind of physical key, please leave the key inside the unit

For emergency services (ambulance, police, fire) please immediately call 911. Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen. State your location as the address on the front page of this book.

In case of a fire

• Exit the property as quickly as possible

• Ensure that all persons are accounted for

• Dial 911

• State your location 

Do not attempt to re-enter the building until a Fire Officer states that it is safe to do so.
