Organize

Our event is completely organized by Washtenaw County High School students!

Students from many high schools in the area (both public and private) join the Organizing Committee and lead the event.

Our organizers are grouped into several committees that manage different aspects of the event:

Student Curator: Meeting announcements and organization, Budget Management, Oversee and facilitate all committees, co-ordinate with Advisers McCraw and Gessert, write grant proposals and presentation, oversight of TED rules

Speakers: Organize auditions, mentor the speakers, form talk organization, select TED Talks, manage the speakers on stage and from booth, and edit speaker PPTs

Design: Posters + flyers + t-shirt design + set design + program + design items for other committees

Tech: CTN Training - directors, camera operators, Sound, Lighting, Set Design (working with the Design Committee)

Hospitality: Decorations, food, audience activities in the Commons, volunteer plan

Marketing: Ticket sales, advertising, promo video, PR, audience relations (info emails, etc), CTN spots, Radio Spots, MLive coverage, Observer/AAPS ad, manage Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and campaigns. Set up WebCast with CTN Crew.
