What is Young Fives Kindergarten? 

Young fives is the gift of time! 

The curriculum is tailored for shorter attention spans, and engaging curiosity through provocations and invitations.

 Play-based learning in Young Fives uses games, toys and art to help students develop skills for fine motor control, independent problem solving and communication. Most importantly, Young Fives prepares students for kindergarten where the day is more academically driven and moves at a faster pace.

Who qualifies for Young Fives?

Enrollment Eligibilty for the 2024-25 School Year (Application available January 9, 2024)

Kindergarten - Eligible students must turn 5 by December 1, 2024, to enroll in Kindergarten. Exceptions to the December 1st deadline are not allowed. Students who turn 5 after December 1, 2024 are eligible for enrollment in regular Kindergarten the Fall of 2025.

Young Fives - Eligible students must turn 5 between May 1 and December 1, 2024, to be considered. Exceptions to the December 1st deadline are not allowed. Students who turn 5 after December 1, 2024 are eligible for enrollment in regular Kindergarten the Fall of 2025.
