Weather and Water Walk

On Tuesday, September 24th, our Ann Arbor Public Schools Environmental Education teacher, Coert Ambrosino came to our school to lead a Weather and Water Walk.  We learned about issues associated with stormwater runoff and strategies for protecting our watershed.  The learning activities were on our school campus, and we discussed drainage, erosion, and other issues facing our watershed along with possible solutions for our school grounds.  Here are some pictures - be sure to ask your kid about these pictures (especially the ones that look like they're just pictures of the parking lot or playground!).
