Artist statement 

The soul of Hawaii's coastline is that of nature in its most raw state, and at the same time, very delicately graceful. Through my lens, I strive to find the very soul of the shores that never sleeps: the eternal symphony of waves, intricate patterns of volcanic rocks, and the dance of light over the ocean's skin.

In this sense, each photograph reflects my respect toward this special place where tradition and nature meet. Waves speak of how life is a form of ongoing change; in gentle sunrise and sunset, it whispers its tranquility and renewal. In curves of palm fronds and shining salt spray, I also find stories about harmony and contrast, which is something like a dance between something permanent and changing.

More than just representations, these images are meditations on the interrelation of life. Through the framing of these moments, I hope to share with the viewer the serenity and energy that I feel while standing on these shores, so as to inspire reflection upon our shared responsibility to cherish and protect these fragile ecosystems.
