Symposium 2026

The Symposium will be held online on June 16 and 17, 2026, and invites the worldwide portfolio community to share research and practice. The event times have been selected to cover a large part of the world with key events happening on both days. That way, everyone can participate in the event on their Wednesday, 17 June 2026.

• June 16, 2026: 4pm to 10pm EDT (Americas, Oceania, and Asia)

• June 17, 2026: 8am to 2pm EDT (Americas, Africa, and Europe)

Session Formats

The Symposium combines traditional conference session formats with fun activities to showcase your research in different ways and talk with other portfolio practitioners. We'll make it easy to come all sessions: There will be one stream and the possibility for breakout sessions.

Make sure to propose your own session.

• 3-minute Shark Tank pitch - pitch a portfolio idea and get feedback from friendly sharks

• 25-minute braindate - match with another attendee to discuss a portfolio question

• 6.5-minute lightning talk - short and snappy idea in a Talk or a 20x20 presentation (20 slides in 20 seconds each)

• 15-minute presentation - plus 10 minutes discussion

• 55-minute conversation - 10 minutes input for the ensuing conversation

• 55-minute workshop that fosters structured engagement and open-dialogue
