STEAM/Paxton Patterson lab - Hands-on learning in Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math inspires inquiry and curiosity. Our teachers encourage students to ask thought-provoking questions that promote creativity and exploration as they connect their problem-solving to real-world solutions. 

Gardening - Connecting with nature is a natural mood booster. Through gardening, children can learn about science, biology, and sustainability, all while developing important life skills. 

MakersSpace - Makerspaces provide an opportunity for hands-on, personalized projects that develop STEM skills and entrepreneurial capacities. These skill sets are invaluable in the global, tech-driven job market our children will step into after graduation.

Project Lead The Way - As PLTW schools, we engage students in hands-on activities, projects, and problems that empower them to solve real-world challenges. Computer science, engineering, and biomedical science inspire learners to reimagine how they see themselves in college and career pathways.

CA Cadet Corps - The California Cadet Corps has been developing leaders since 1911. The program's objectives are to develop leadership, citizenship, and patriotism, promote academic excellence, encourage personal health and wellness, and teach basic military subjects.

AVID Program - Many students have a desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard but do not truly have the opportunity to be college-ready. These are often the students who will be the first in their families to attend college. By teaching and reinforcing academic behaviors and higher-level thinking from elementary school, teachers help students develop the academic habits they will need to be successful in middle school, high school, and college in an age-appropriate and challenging way. Children learn about organization, study skills, communication, and self-advocacy to prepare for college and careers.
