On November 18, 2018, I married my husband, Andrew Lepp! We met playing soccer together and still continue to play to this day. We also have a cat named Dobby.
I grew up in Lancaster, Ca and have lived in Southern California most of my life. I grew up loving and playing soccer, so I knew my goal was to play in college. I worked hard and received a college scholarship to play for Belmont Abbey College is Belmont, North Carolina. I drove my car all the way from Lancaster to North Carolina! Wanna see how far that is? Click here to see it on Google Maps! While I was there, I went to school to become a teacher, played soccer, and even got the chance to dress up as the mascot!
I graduated college in 2012 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. Then, I decided to come back home and teach!
7 years into teaching, I decided to go back to college and get my Masters in Education Technology at Concordia University Irvine. Go Eagles!
My husband, Mr. Lepp, and I also love to travel! This year, we went to England over the New Year and we explored many fun places: Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Big Ben, and the Warner Brother's Harry Potter Studio tour! My Interests & Hobbies:
As you read before, I love soccer! I have played since I was 10 years old and I haven't stopped since. I am also a Manchester United fan, so while we are in season, expect to see me wearing my jerseys! You are always welcome to wear yours, too! Want to see some of my favorite goals from 2018? I am also a BIG Harry Potter fan! I am a Gryffindor (according to Pottermore.com). You can use this website to get sorted into your house too!
About the same time I began playing soccer, I began reading Harry Potter. Believe it or not, that is the first series of books where I couldn't put the books down. They were still being released when I was growing up, so I always had to wait until Thanksgiving to buy the next one! If you are interested in joining the fan club with me, let me know and I'll lend you a copy. If you want to also try one of the audio books, let me know. That's how I first started reading and I love to share the magic with anyone who wants it!
My Philosophy
I believe in creating a positive classroom culture so that every person entering it feels safe, loved, and supported. I believe in the power of Project Based Learning, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication. I am here to learn with you and explore the many wonders of the world together.
