Students in Explorations I will do just that, explore our program and what it has to offer with a range of guest speakers, field trips, and career exploration. Students will have chances to make real world connections and hear from local professionals about various career pathways.
Students in Explorations II will build upon topics from Explorations I and continue on a deeper dive for careers of interest. Students will learn about professionalism and workplace skills as well as resume writing and interview preparation. Students will learn about security clearances needed for careers in cybersecurity. Students will continue to have field trip and guest speaker opportunities.

Students enrolled in our Netwrok Security Pathway will also take Student Leadership on off college days. Students in Student Leadership will build upon soft skills including presentation and public speaking skills, writing, job interview and resume skills, as most importantly collborate. Students in this course will be working together often on various tasks and group focused skills. Students will continue to have field trip and guest speaker opportunities.
Upon completion of our Signature Program, students will earn a Graduation Cord. There are two paths to earn a Signature Cord*:
1) Completion of Explorations I, II, and enroll in a college course or internship senior year
Or
2) Completion of the Networking Security Certificate Pathway
*Must be active with the Siganture program senior year. Active participation looks like coming to guest speakers, going on field trips, and volunteering at events.
