Secondary Application Process

The applicant must be a current AACPS conditional teacher in AACPS to apply to the RT Program.

Resident Teacher Candidates must meet one of the following MSDE requirements prior to starting the RT program:

• Achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the post-secondary level OR

• Provide a passing score report from one of these assessments: Praxis Core, SAT,   ACT, or GRE

⭐Candidates MAY NOT  begin the program unless these requirements are fulfilled
