Mrs. Sarah Jester DelSignore has been a choral educator for 22 years in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance from Frostburg State University, and a Master of Music Education from Boston University. Mrs. DelSignore achieved National Board Certification in Music for Early Adolescence through Early Adulthood and served as a Candidate Support Provider for other colleagues in her county.

For the past ten years, she has been the choral director at Northeast High School. With an extensive repertoire of classes, she prides herself in teaching: Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble, Women’s Choir, Piano, Honors Music Theory, and Advanced Placement Music Theory. Mrs. DelSignore is the full-time director and musical advisor of the NHS Theatre Group. Prior to Northeast High School, she was the choral director at Chesapeake Bay Middle School. As a choral director, her ensembles have received superior ratings at local, state, and national festivals.

Mrs. DelSignore has been recognized as Anne Arundel County Educator of the Month, Northern AAC Chamber of Commerce Educational Excellence Award, Anne Arundel County Teacher of the Year Semi-finalist, Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award and has been nominated as Grammy Music Educator.

Mr. M. Edward Nagel

M. Edward Nagel is excited to be teaching instrumental music as part of the NHS Music team. Mr. Nagel holds a Masters Degree from The American College of Education, a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Ball State University and studied Music Performance at Towson University. He will be teaching Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Music Tech, Guitar and Piano at NHS. He currently holds the position of Manager of the NAfME All National Honor Orchestra and regularly performs with various groups from MD to FL.

He has held the position of Director of Bands and Orchestras at St. Cloud High School (FL) and Director of Bands and Supervisor of Music for Fairborn City Schools (OH) where his bands and orchestras have received superior ratings at the district, state and national levels. Mr. Nagel was in the first class of recipients of the Fairborn Education Association "Teachers Who Make A Real Difference" Award, has been named several times to "Who's Who in American Teachers" and has been a finalist for the Osceola County Arts Teacher of The Year. Prior to teaching, Mr. Nagel served as Principal Horn of The Air Force Band of Flight for 10 years. He has also performed with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Dayton Philharmonic, Springfield Symphony, Lima Symphony, Teatro Lirico D'Europa, Whitewater Opera, Punta Gorda Symphony and Lakeland Symphony Orchestras as well as the Walt Disney World All-American College Band .
