Mrs. Carter brings 30 years of experience in education and the non-profit space, having served as a classroom teacher, teacher leader, reading specialist, assistant principal, and elementary school principal. Her journey has taken her through diverse school communities—private, charter, and public—which has given her a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, needs, and opportunities that every learning environment holds. In addition to her professional background, she is deeply passionate about self-empowerment and the overall well-being of students, families, and staff—especially in the areas of mental health and emotional wellness.
As your Community School Program Manager, she will work alongside school staff, families, and community partners to strengthen connections between the school and the resources, programs, and opportunities that help our children thrive. This includes building relationships, coordinating supports, and ensuring that our school serves as a welcoming hub for learning and community engagement. Mrs Carter looks forward to meeting each of you, hearing your perspectives, and working together to make Quarterfield Elementary a place where every student can flourish!
